What do you want - News

I feel like its time for the community to make some decisions instead of the supers.
The supers can make as many decisions as they want but if it isnt popular with you guys, what good are their ideas.

As for a server I want you guys to tell me and them what YOU want and give a good reasoning.

They can completely ignore this or go through with it but I highly suggest the supers go through with what the community wants.

Although projects the Developers are working on like our new gamemodes is their decision and will continue to be worked on but I would like to get the communities outlook on what kind of server they want.
Remember to include reasoning why.

I asked as many people as I could yesterday that were online that I think mean a lot to voxel and this is what the ones I could get a hold pretty much all of them wanted SH or TTT back or both, some people suggested we have a new gamemode like zombie survival. I think we should bring back what we used to be.

I honestly don't want to do TTT for the 3rd time ( even though I was only here for the second one ) it just will not go down well. There are so many other TTT servers how would ours be any different.

As for Stronghold, I don't care, if someone wants to pay $20 for it I will be active on it and even help keep it up. This could be right up our alley for bringing voxel back to it's shine and glory.

Zombie Survival is probably not going to work out, unless it was something like Vein like 017 suggested before. EXCEPT I DON'T HAVE L4D CONTENT OMFOGMFOMGFOGMFOGM

I don't mind the community choosing servers, but I won't partake in running any form of RP, sorry. I'm willing to let someone control the srcds server via FTP and that way all I will do is setup the server initially. That being said though whoever is going to run the server would need to prove that they have experience in the matter, is a capable owner, and is trustworthy.

As for Non-RP I think there's just Sandbox, Space Build, Stronghold, Zombie Survival, TTT, and some minor others. Those I'd be O.K. setting up, but it would be on the community to tell me what they wanted on the server.

Also, there are other games. At that point though I won't host the server on the current VDS (keeping it strictly for Garry's Mod), but we did (or still do?) have a minecraft server, we had a Terraria server for a bit, and other games like CSS have been brought up in the past. Those are to consider, maybe people here can setup servers or devise plans to pay for another VDS or game-specific server.

Not trying to be mean or be an asshole but I have to tread more carefully now since I own a Gmod server. Any hoot I would LOVE to see you guys expand to a new game simply because I wouldn't mind playing it. You guys are despite what most at T,I say a fun community and I made a lot of great friends here! So I think it would be nice because no one would have a reason to bitch if I played on your server if we didn't have a rival server . Lastly other then other two game modes that you are making you have pretty much used Gmod to its full potential and use, which I might say is quite impressive that you made so much out of one game. So if I get a vote that counts I say you expand to new horizons like CS:GO or maybe some mods that are coming or are already out like no more room in hell.

I'd say a VEIN server with some mods might be a good idea, demon can go buy L4D2 for five dollars if he's gonna be a jew about it. lol. I could set it up but I don't think much else will work right now; APEX is heavily WIP and people really need to understand that Remscar and any of the other devs work on it on our free time, and it isn't going to be done overnight or instantly. Placeholders are fine but they need to seriously remain placeholders. VEIN or something like zombie survival could become more permanent but we have to see.

I brought my brigade of ruffians into that minecraft server and we got quite rowdy. You can easily pin this crime on me.

The only things I'd be interested right now are SH and Minecraft. If we all agree on having a Minecraft (not tekkit please, tekkit is garbage), we should wait till me or someone else gets a bit more money to host it on it's own server.

Sourcemods always seem to have issues and since they aren't like gmod you can't mod them very much, so their playability is sort of limited.

We also gotta make room for Sigma and v0 Lounge soon.

I have some other gamemode ideas (that aren't created yet)

- VoxelBots ( Garry's Bots recreation )
- Cruiser Command ( based off of the wc3 map )

I liked the Tekkit server if it hadnt been set to Hardcore... Me and my friends played on it to the point that we have the best armor possible and destroyed any newcomers... If better advertising was done for the server than it would have been great
