Well I guess this thread is definitely needed, as we're getting traffic and the Minecraft server is currently available to anyone who finds out the IP so let me shed some light about what is going on.
Currently the server is in Development, what I mean by this is it's currently being set-up things being installed etc. Even though the server is available to be played on nothing will be saved when it is publicly released. If you are willing to help with building & other things let me know and you may be able to be part of the Minecraft team.
As of right now a few people are being considered to be a apart of the Minecraft Staff team, including @SkyKing @Conorman @Komrk
A few of the features that are planned to be added are the following:
Factions based PvP Survival
Hopefully a type of Zombies with guns with help from a dear friend creator of "CrackShot" plugin
mcMMO
Economy with Shops & Maybe NPC's
offline-mode = false ; a.k.a Cracked availability to those who are unfortunate to own Minecraft.
and more to come
Also a second server may be in the works hosted by @Radon. A custom ModPack, but more info about should arrive in the future.
